“Aasha” means hope in Hindi. Aasha is a jewelry line committed to 100% sustainability, crafted by a group of economically disadvantaged women artisans. These women create unique and colorful jewelry by wrapping discarded saris around small wooden beads. The wooden beads are made from scrap wood sourced from nearby furniture factories, and the fabric comes from old, worn saris collected from all over India. Each bead is unique, ensuring that no two pieces of jewelry are the same.
