With the holidays just around the corner I wanted to design something that I could knit in a night and still have a stylish handknit gift.  Jumbo knits are very hot right now, so a cabled hat embellished with a fur pom was just the ticket. 

Materials:

#7 – Jumbo, about 54 yards jumbo weight yarn (100% Fine Highland Wool 54 yards) shown in color 1404

Tools & Notions:

US 15 & 17 - 16” Circular and US 17 Double Pointed Needles, Stitch Markers, Cable Needle

Finished Measurements:

24” outer circumference unstretched x 8” height

Note: Since this hat is made with thicker yarn it is not meant to stretch as much over the head.
