A perfect beginner friendly project, Northwind uses just two stitches to create snowflakes, chevrons, ripples, and arrows.  In class we'll teach you to follow the written and/or charted instructions to improve your pattern reading skills.

Materials:
DK weight yarn, about 280 yards
We suggest Dream in Color Cosette

US 5  16" circular needles
Or, US 5 4" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 8" Cable
Stitch Markers
