357 yds fingering weight yarn

We recommend Millefiori Light Luxe.  For a larger shawl, get two skeins.

J 6.0 mm crochet hook

Pre-work:
With waste yarn and a spare hook, Chain 6, dc in 3rd chain from hook and in each chain to end. 

Row 1: Chain 2, dc in each stitch across.
Repeat Row 1 18 more times, a total of 20 rows.
