Cashmina Cowboy Cowl - On Demand Class

Cowboy cowls are one of the most popular accessories to knit.  A quick project that's stylish and easy to wear, this cowl is just right for confident beginners.  In this two session class we'll teach you how to do a garter tab, work flat, join in the round, eyelets, and more.

Difficulty: Confident Beginner

Materials: 

Approximately 400-700 yds fingering weight yarn. 
Sample knit with one skein of Concept by Katia Cashmina.  We just stopped early to work the design up in one skein.

US 4 32" circular needles

Or, US 4  5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 22" Cable

 Pre-work:

With waste yarn and spare needles, cast on 31 stitches and knit two rows.  We will practice the eyelet increases worked flat on this piece.

Between sessions you'll have homework to finish the worked flat portion.  We will teach you how to join in the round in session two.
