Sea Glass Tee - On Demand Class

The Sea Glass tee is a perfect first fair isle project.  Use mini skeins, leftovers, variegates, speckles, solids, you name it.  This hat requires no rules on contrast so it's all about just learning to work with two colors at once.  In class we'll teach you our favorite fair isle techniques and how to seamlessly join a new color.

Materials:

240 - 510 grams of fingering weight yarn in as many colors as desired
We suggest using four colors of Smooshy Cashmere

US 4 16"-20" circular needles or dpns
US 5 16"-40" circular needles or dpns

Or, US 4 and 5  4" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 8-14" and 8-32" Cable

Purchase pattern from Ravelry here.

Pre-work:
Swatch and get gauge in stockinette stitch in the round.  Size up one needle size from the size you achieve gauge on for the actual sweater.

Cast on with main color for your size and work ribbing for neckline.  In the first session we'll teach you how to work the short rows and how to do the colorwork technique.

Between sessions you'll have time to finish the yoke so that in session two we can teach you how to divide for sleeves.
