Asbury Park via Zoom



A fun and relaxing knit, Asbury Park utilizes four unique stitch patterns to create a shawl that is absolutely gorgeous.  It then ends with a gorgeous feather and fan border.  In class we'll teach you how to work each stitch pattern, as well as how to place beads to create a shawl with lots of amazing drape.  

Materials: 

Approximately 400 yds fingering weight yarn
We recommend LYS Day Merino Cloud by Artyarns

US 6 24" circular needles

Or, US 6  5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 14" Cable
1 tube size 6 beads
Amour Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 / 0.75mm

Pre-work:
Cast on and work setup rows. We will start the Sand Stitch here.

With waste yarn and spare needles cast on 22 stitches.  We will use this to practice the different stitch patterns starting with the Eyelet Rows Pattern.

All our classes are recorded, so even if you cannot attend the scheduled time you can still learn all of the techniques.  The link for the recording will be emailed to you after the class has completed.
