LK150 How to Swatch on the Machine



If you intend to knit projects on your knitting machine, you'll want to know the proper way to swatch to make sure your garments/accessories come out the right size.  In this class we're going to teach you all of our tips and tricks for successful gauge swatching.

Materials: 

200 yards of worsted weight yarn
We recommend RiosMoonshineCotton Merino TweedBerocco Mochi, or Re-Tape
LK 150 knitting machine
Waste yarn in the same weight as your project yarn in a contrast color.
Ravel cord
Dry erase marker


Pre-work:
With waste yarn and carriage dial set to tension 6, cast on 40 and work 10 rows. 
Knit 1 row with ravel cord.
Knit 1 row with swatch yarn

All our classes are recorded, so even if you cannot attend the scheduled time you can still learn all of the techniques.  The link for the recording will be emailed to you after the class has completed.
