Hipster Cowl via Zoom
Dropped stitches are exciting because they add a lot of height to your project with just one row. Make it even more interesting by crossing those stitches and you have a gorgeous woven look. In this class we'll teach you all about how to work this stylish technique.
Materials:
560 yards each of worsted weight yarn
Sample done in Noro Tsubame
US 8 32" circular needles
Or, US 8 5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a large Twist or Spin 22" Cable
Purchase pattern on Ravelry here.
Pattern is written for a provisional cast on and kitchener join. If you have not taken our Sportay Cowl class to learn this method, the cowl can also easily be done with a regular cast on and seamed.
Pre-work:
Cast on and work the set-up section so you are ready to start the textured stitch.
Please Note: You will receive the link to join zoom the day before class. Please double check your email address when signing up so we can make sure your link is sent to the correct place.
All our classes are recorded, so even if you cannot attend the scheduled time you can still learn all of the techniques. The link for the recording will be emailed to you after the class has completed.
