Western Slope Beanie Via Zoom



With Runny Babbitt we taught you to double strand.  With Souffle we taught you to cable.  Now combine those techniques into the most amazing hat you'll ever knit, the Western Slope Beanie.  In this class we'll teach you to work a more intricate traveling cable pattern.

Materials: 

Western Slope Beanie Kit
or 250 yards fingering paired with 250 yards mohair.  If using this option you'll need to purchase the pattern separately here
US 6  16" circular needles
Or, US 6  4" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 8" Cable
Beginning of Round Marker
Cable Needle
Colored Pencils for chart

Note: If you would like to put together your own colors for the Western Slope Beanie you will need 250 yards of fingering weight yarn and 250 yards of mohair.  If not purchasing the kit, the pattern is available here.

Pre-work:
With yarn held double cast on and work ribbing for 1.5" then work setup rounds 1-3.

Make a photo copy of your chart before class.
