Knit with bulky weight yarn, this cowl works up lickety split.  You'll start with a basic 2x2 rib and then expand out into a simple lace that is perfect for first time lace knitters.  Make it with or without fringe for a totally different look.


Materials: 
209 yds #5 Bulky weight yarn

We recommend Berroco Lanas Quick.  You'll need two skeins.

US 10.5 straight needles
Or, US 10.5  5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 8" Cable

Pre-work:
Cast on and work Rows 1&2 of 2x2 ribbing until work measures 15.5".
