Easy garter stitch followed by a simple lace and an applied lace border. This is a beginner friendly project. A beautiful, elegant design that is sure to please yourself or your friends.

You will need:
Versant Shawl Kit or 1 skein Mohair Ombre 2 Ply and 1 skein Merino Cloud in contrasting colors
US 7 24" circular needles
Or, US 7 5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 14” Cable
Stitch Markers

Pre-work:
Swatch and achieve gauge.

Make two of the following.
With spare needles and waste yarn, cast on 30 stitches and knit six rows.  Leave stitches on the needle.  You will be practicing stitches on these pieces.
