Alpaca My Hat/Cowl
Show your love of fiber with this sweet hat featuring a flock of fair isle sheep. The design is a great way to show your colorwork skills, and such a fun and whimsical way to say I Love Yarn! In this class we'll teach you stranded knitting, as well as how to deal with long floats.

Requirements: | PRE-HOMEWORK Hat: Gauge: 23 stitches = 4 inches Cowl: Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches With Smaller needles, cast on 96. Join in the round being careful not to twist. Row 1: *k2, p2; repeat from* to end of round. Work Row 1 until ribbing measures 3 inches for hat or 1 inch for cowl. SUPPLIES Pattern: Available at class $6.00 plus printing fee Hat - US 6 & 7 16? circulars and US 7 DPNs Worsted weight yarn, 95 yards each of 4 colors Cowl ? US 7 & 8 16? circulars Worsted weight yarn, 95 yards each of 4 colors Stitch markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure.
