Flower Garden Stole
This on the bias stole or scarf is worked with alternating sections of beautiful lace and simple stockinette. We knit ours with an Alexandra's Small Fry kit but any combination of fingering weight yarn will work up beautifully in this engaging knit. Let us boost your lace knitting skills with this two session class.

Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.
PRE-WORK
None GAUGE: Gauge: 24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch after blocking SUPPLIES Pattern: Available at class $7.00 plus printing fee YARN: 1 skein of Black Butte and 1 set of 6 mini skeins from Alexandra the Art of Yarn. 400 yards contrast color fingering weight NEEDLES: US 5, 24 inch circulars, or size needed to obtain gauge Stitch Markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip). |
