| Instructor Bio: | I have been knitting and crocheting for more than 50 years. I started young, and these crafts have stayed with me through every season of my life. I have spent the last 20 years teaching knit and crochet classes, usually five or more each week, and I still love watching that moment when something clicks for a student. My background is in education, and I teach both right and left handed learners. I am friendly, patient, and encouraging, and I have a knack for figuring out the approach that best fits your learning style. My goal is always to help you feel confident, supported, and excited about what you can create. Knitting and crochet have helped me through some of the hardest moments in my life, and I think of them as portable therapy. Teaching is my way of sharing that comfort with others. I want you to have a space to learn, to breathe, and to enjoy the simple joy of making something with your hands. |
