Knitting & Crochet Classes — All Skills Welcome
Whether you’re picking up yarn for the first time or have years of experience, these classes are designed for every skill level. Bring your own project, get help with tricky stitches, or learn new techniques in a supportive and creative environment.
With more than 50 years of knitting and crochet experience, 20+ years running a yarn boutique, and teaching at retreats and national events, I’ve guided thousands of students in building confidence and community through fiber arts. My teaching style blends technical know-how with encouragement — because every stitch is a chance to grow.
You can expect personalized guidance, practical tips, and a space where learning feels like “portable therapy.” Together, we’ll build skills, spark creativity, and enjoy the process of making.

| Instructor Bio: | About Your Instructor With more than 50 years of knitting and crochet experience, and over two decades as the owner of a thriving yarn boutique, I’ve taught everywhere from intimate retreats to national events. Along the way, I’ve designed patterns, built communities, and helped countless students find their confidence with yarn and hook. My teaching style blends technical know-how with encouragement. I believe every stitch builds more than a project — it builds confidence, creativity, and connection. Students can expect personalized guidance, practical tips, and a welcoming community where questions are encouraged and progress is celebrated. My background in Liberal Studies shaped how I teach: knitting and crochet aren’t just crafts, they’re tools for learning, growth, and self-discovery. I like to call it “portable therapy” — a way to quiet your mind, spark joy, and carry calm with you wherever you go. |
