Join our knitting class and dive into the wonderful world of lace garments! In this session, you'll learn the art of seamless, top-down construction while creating a stunning lace piece. Perfect for beginners, the class focuses on a simple yet elegant lace pattern, ensuring a gratifying experience for all skill levels. We'll guide you through knitting in the round from the top-down, shaping the yoke with increasing lace stitches tailored to your size, and seamlessly transitioning to the body with an easily memorized 8-row, 12-stitch pattern. Finally, you'll master the finishing touches, including delicate cap sleeves adorned with ribbing. Whether you're new to lace knitting or looking to refine your skills, this class promises to inspire creativity and confidence in your craft.

Materials:
292 - 1460 yards sport weight
We recommend Artyarns Regal Silk or Linen Whisper
US 2 16" circular needle
US 5 16" and 24" circular needle
US 7 24" circular needle

Pre-Work: Before you dive into the fun stuff, let's take a moment for some pre-work! Grab your yarn and needles and let's swatch and block to get that perfect gauge. Getting the gauge just right is super important for this project, otherwise, you might find yourself short on yarn. Once you've nailed that gauge, it's time to cast on 120 stitches and get ready for some knitting magic!
