Learn to work a simple lace pattern while double stranding with this fun and fast project.  It features one skein of Merino Cloud in our World Traveler colorway.  The simple stitch pattern pairs great with the marling created by double stranding a stripey color like this.

Materials: 

#2 – Sport about 437 (437, 874) yards.
Artyarns Merino Cloud (80% Merino 20% Cashmere 437 yards) 1 (1, 2 skeins)

US 9, 24" circular needles
Or, US 9  5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a large Twist or Spin 14" Cable
Stitch Markers

Pre-work:
With yarn held double and US 9 needles, cast on cast on 98 (119, 196) stitches.

Join in the round being careful not to twist, placing beginning of round marker.

Border Pattern:

Round 1: Knit

Round 2: Purl

Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 twice more.
