Painted Lace Triangle Shawl via Zoom

Simple stripes of stockinette and rib pair perfectly with this ombre yarn.  Worked sideways, this shawl is a great way to learn to stay in pattern while increasing and decreasing.  In class we'll show you how to increase while maintaining your pattern.  Then we'll switch to your practice swatch to teach you the decreasing.  


874 yards of fingering weight yarn
We suggest Painted Lace Rainbow or Painted Lace Degrade

US 4 32" circular needles
Or, US 4  5" Interchangeable Tips in Metal or Bamboo, and a small Twist or Spin 22" Cable

Pattern available for free from Ravelry here.


Work garter and stockinette section until you have 25 stitches.  With waste yarn and a spare needle, cast on 31 stitches and knit two rows.
