Knitted Cross Stitch Cowl
Elongated stitches and a faux cable technique are a fun new skill that adds character and drape to your project. Since the weather is already getting warm, we think a cotton yarn is just perfect for this project. Plus, you can add a bit of character with a ribbon, fur, or metallic yarn.

| Requirements: | PRE-HOMEWORK Gauge: 12 stitches = 4 inches Swatch and get gauge before class. Small (Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large), Cast on 128 (136, 144, 152, 160) Join in the round being careful not to twist and placing beginning of round marker. Round 1: Knit around Round 2: Purl around, Repeat Rounds 1& 2 once more. SUPPLIES Pattern: Available at class $5.00 plus printing fee Bulky weight yarn, 328 yards US 10, 24 inch circulars and double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge Stitch markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure. Tapestry needle (preferably bent tip) Paper & pen for note taking if desired |
