This cowl is so quick and easy, you will want to make more than one. Choose a self striping yarn for a beautiful finish that looks like you put lots of time into this work of art.


Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Advanced Beginner
Materials Included: None
Requirements: PRE-WORK
Cast on 188 stitches. Join in the round, being careful not to twist. Place beginning of round marker and *k2, p2* for 7 rows.
GAUGE: Gauge is not critical.
PATTERN: Available at class plus printing fee
YARN: Sample used 1 skein fingering weight Freia, 331 yards. (Pattern is written for 455 - 463 yards fingering weight yarn and is a bigger finished project)
NEEDLES: Fingering US 4-6, or Sport US 7, 24” circular needles
Stitch markers
Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip).
