Raindance Cowl

Keep cozy and warm with this oversized cowl made with just one skein of Noro Ito! This cowl is made by simply knitting a seed and rib pattern in a large rectangle and then seaming it together. The straightforward pattern is kept interesting by the beautiful color palette of Ito.  Perfect for beginners, this project will help advance your skills while getting comfortable with knitting a larger project.

Requirements: PREREQUISITES Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease. PRE-WORK
GAUGE: 24 sts to 5.5 inches/14cm and 24 rows to 4in/10cm over seed and rib pattern using size US 7
PATTERN: Available at class
YARN: 437 yds worsted weight yarn OR 1 200g skein of Noro Ito
NEEDLES: One pair of US size 7/4.5 mm needles or size to obtain gauge
Stitch markers
Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip).
