Auspicious Shawl

Perfect for that skein of fingering weight yarn you just HAD to have, this scarfy shawl will help you get the hang of the garter tab, a common technique for starting shawls.  You'll also get to practice your short row skills and knit a simple eyelet border.  Since it's garter stitch, the shawl can be blocked wide, or kept narrow to be a gently curved scarf.  This class is great for those wanting to try these techniques for the first time, as well as those who just want to improve their skills.
