Cowboy Brioche Cowl

The next step in your brioche journey, this bandana style cowl starts out worked in the round.  Then we'll begin working flat and decreasing, adding two new skills to your brioche knitting.  After this class you'll be well on your way to being comfortable with this unique technique. 


Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.  Must have taken All Things Spring Brioche Class to attend.

Requirements: PRE-HOMEWORK
Gauge: 13 stitches = 4” in brioche stitch
With Color A(Shown in Burgundy), cast on 82. Join in the round and work k1, p1 ribbing for 1 round.

Pattern: Available at class $6.00 plus printing fee
Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors, 120 yards each
US 8 16 inch circulars
Stitch markers
Please bring these additional tools:
Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure.
Tapestry needle (preferably bent tip)
Paper & pen for note taking if desired
