Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.

| Requirements: | OPTIONAL PRE-WORK: Decide which color will be A, B, C and D will be your beaded skein. With US 7 needles and color A, cast on 120 stitches using the long tail cast on. Join in the round being careful not to twist, placing beginning of round marker. Garter Pattern: Round 1: Knit Round 2: Purl. Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 four times more, GAUGE:: 16 stitches = 4 inches SUPPLIES PATTERN available at time of class: $5.00 YARN: Dk weight yarn: 3 colors at 124 yards each and 1 at 60 yards Sample knit with Artyarns Knitique Exclusive Evanesce Kit NEEDLES: US 7 24 inch circulars Stitch Markers Please bring these additional tools: knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip) |
