Casapinka Knit-a-Long
It is about community and sharing our love of knitting and tea - you will get tea recipes with each clue. You will end up with a very pretty boomerang shaped shawl (see Albuquerque Sunset to confirm shawl shape). Also the “Lagalong Group” was a strong group last year so no worries if you don’t get it done on time!
6 clues over 6 weeks
12 mini-skeins - or use 4 skeins of 300 yards of sock yarn
A tea recipe/suggestion for each clue
Skill Level - advanced beginner. Can yo, k2tog, ssk, slip some, knit some, purl some, make some, that kind of stuff. If you’ve done some of my patterns, you’ll be fine and there is Paced and Planned Netflix Knittingthroughout.

Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.

None GAUGE: Gauge: 22 stitches = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch after blocking SUPPLIES Pattern: Available at class $7.00 plus for printing fee YARN: 12 mini-skeins, at least 100 yards each, fingering weight NEEDLES: US 6, 24 inch circular needle Stitch Markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip). |
