Gradient Fun Shawl
Textured stitches and eyelets combine with a gradient yarn in this simple shawlette. In this class you'll learn a fun technique for creating a rippled edge, as well as how to work short rows to create a boomerang shape.
PREREQUISITES
Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.

GAUGE: FINGERING 25 stitches and 35 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch (gauge not critical) Sample used SPORT 20-22 = 4” after blocking (again, not critical)

PATTERN: Available at class plus printing fee
YARN: 820 - 984 yards fingering OR 256 yards Sport weight (sample used 1 skein Freia Fine Handpaints NEEDLES: Fingering US 4-6, or Sport US 7, 24” circular needles Stitch markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure, paper & pen for note taking if desired, tapestry needle (preferably bent tip). |
