Counterflow Afghan
A chevron-esque knit and purl pattern combined with a self-striping yarn create an afghan with just the right amount of texture and movement. Design can be knit in two sizes so you can share or keep it all to yourself!
PREREQUISITES
Proficiency in basic knitting skills: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.| Skill Level: | Beginner |

| Requirements: | PRE-HOMEWORK Gauge: 16 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch Sizes are Lap (Throw) = 36”x48” (48”x60”) Cast on 145 (201), Knit every row for 2”. SUPPLIES Pattern: Available at class $6.00 plus printing fee Worsted weight yarn 1320 (2200) yards US 8 – 32 inch circulars Stitch markers Please bring these additional tools: Knitting gauge, scissors, tape measure. Tapestry needle (preferably bent tip) Paper & pen for note taking if desired |
