Danielle

Danielle is the owner of Knitique and a Knitting Extraordinaire! This girl can knit anything! Anna

Anna is a self taught knitter and crocheter, loving both crafts equally. Although she does admit to having a bias towards all things fair isle. Being left-handed, she has learned to crochet right-handed to improve her abilities as a crochet instructor. Specializing in designs that are easy to make and fashion forward, she began designing and self-publishing on Ravelry. Two of her latest designs have been published by Cascade Yarns, with more on the way.

Beth

Beth, Legal Eagle by day...and knitter teacher on weekends!

Brenda

My aunt taught me to knit over 25 years ago. I enjoy knitting scarves, shawls and sweaters for myself. I also knit for my nieces, nephews and friend’s children. My favorite yarns to knit with have alpaca, cashmere or merino wool. My “day job” is in finance where everything is structured and straight forward. Knitting gives me an outlet from the stresses of my “day job” and allows my creative side to come out. I love it when I finish a project and am able to see what I created with sticks and string. I have worked at Knitique since the doors opened and enjoy every minute of my time here whether it’s helping a customer pick out yarn for a new project or teaching a class.

Emma

I started knitting when I was 14, but I quickly switched over to crocheting because it was more conducive to making the plushies that I was interested in at the time. I've been crocheting ever since, and I took up knitting again about a year ago to be more versatile. I am constantly working on improving my knitting skills. My favorite yarns to work with are cotton and superwash wool, as they have great stitch definition for the dolls that I specialize in. I do make the classics (cowls/scarves/shawls) frequently, but I also love making unconventional things, whether it be little bumblebee keychains, kitten toys, or fake potted plants.

Lauren

Lauren has been around knitting since the moment she was born. She has knit garments for herself and hats for her family. She is in the boutique when she is not away at school but helps us on all the behind the scene activities of Knitique.

Lynn

Lynn is excited to join the Knitique crew. She was fortunate enough to have both of her grandmothers teach her to knit as a child and has been knitting ever since. She has done various crafts though out her life, but knitting is her passion. She knits a variety of things from beaded lace shawls to bulky cardigans and never shies away from trying something new.

Susan

My sister taught me to knit in 1994. I love to knit shawls with or without beads in fingering or lace weight yarn. My favorite yarns currently are ombre and mini skein packs. My favorite place to knit is in the mountains under the trees. I have worked at Knitique since we opened the doors June 2005. I enjoy teaching and furthering the addiction by helping people pick out the perfect yarn for their next project.

Taneisha

Taneisha is our newest Knitique Girl. She has more than ten years' experience knitting and also enjoys hiking, running and yoga.
